Simply Tea & Friends
The tea is designed as an opportunity for women to bring neighbors, coworkers, family members and friends who may not share their faith to enjoy an afternoon together over a cup of tea.
You will share a quality tea room experience that includes salads, sandwiches, sweets and, of course, tea. Each table is uniquely decorated by a hostess, providing opportunity to express her individually or partnering with another to prepare her table of ten. Read more about table preparation and setting. Our special guest will be Drawing Water. “These talented performers provide an inspirational and uplifting ride – moving audiences from laughing out loud to reaching for the tissues! - Hostesses are asked to limit their pre-purchase of tickets to six, giving opportunity to make seats available to more women.
- We are always looking for new ladies to participate—tables have been set aside for first time hostesses.
- Half-tables seating five or six will be again be available in the balcony.
How to Host and/or Get More Information:
- Pray and consider how to be involved.
- Commitment to hostess will give opportunity to pre-purchase six tickets by notifying Ruth Wright prior to March 24.
- Beginning Sunday, March 25, tickets will be sold at church and by contacting Ruth Wright.
- You will receive detailed information in a follow-up mailing which will answer questions regarding ticket sales, a training opportunity and detailed table setting requirements.
