Our 2011 Kid’s Summer Adventure,
The H.I.T. TEAM: Heroes in Training, was a great success! A record 382 children participated in
worship, games, crafts, Bible stories and learned
how to be heroes for Jesus.
The children collected over $1100 for World Concern’s project to treat children with parasitic infections. That money will benefit over 2500 kids in Third World villages. Thursday evening we invited families to join the kids for dinner and we served 850 to 1,000 people. The children put on a short program for the families and then enjoyed inflatables and facepainting.
Pastor Steve wants to express his tremendous gratitude and appreciation to all who volunteered time and support to make this a great event. Without those “heroes”, Kids Summer Adventure could not happen.
