I oversee Operations at Northshore, which includes Finance, Facility, and I.T., as well as directly lead H.R., 2nd 1/2 Ministry and Place. Here are some interesting facts about me:
- I have been married to Leona for 40 years, as of June 17, 2012 – at which time we hope to be visiting Sweden, at the invitation of the Swedish Baptists there.
- We have two adult married children (Jonathan, married to Emily; Lynnea, married to Daniel) who, along with their spouses have blessed us with 5 grandchildren in five years (4 boys, 1 girl). We enjoy hanging out with all of our grandchildren, and swimming at Sheridan Beach in the summer.
- I have been in pastoral ministry since 1976 when I graduated from Denver Seminary. I hold a Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Seminary.
- Have been a youth pastor, associate pastor, senior pastor in two churches, church consultant, denomination leader and now an Executive Pastor.
- Leona and I co-lead our national 2nd Half Ministry for ConvergeWorldwide, seeking to help people in the 2nd Half of life "Re-ignite" their purpose and passion for living.
- I have been a Ventriloquist since high school days, and have a collection of "Dummies" in my office.
- I have been a Mac user since the original MacIntosh came out in 1984 and have never looked back.
I hope to see all of God's people discover their PLACE in ministry at Northshore, from the staff to all our fellow volunteer ministers.
