Tower of Light Ministries is a place where those struggling with unwanted same-sex attractions can find help. Our ministry is centered on the hope, love and power found in Jesus Christ to renew the deepest and most personal parts of our lives.
Frequently, as we proceed on our individual life journey, we want to change course and the choices we make. However, we typically grapple with our sexual identity and intimacy wounds in secret, fearing that exposure will incur the judgment and rejection of others. You may be someone who has same-sex fantasies, thoughts and desires, has a history of sexual activity, or is enmeshed with same-sex friends. Or, you may be someone who has been involved in a homosexual lifestyle and you are now deciding it is time to walk away.
Whichever you are dealing with, this is a safe place for you to address these issues. Exploring sensitive issues, sharing with others who care and understand, and finding the support to live life differently is what Tower of Light is about. Many have found peace from the things that disturb their desire for wholeness and joy in personal relationships. Tower of Light Ministries is a member of Exodus International.
Groups
Men’s groups are available in Bothell and Seattle. Women are invited to participate in the Living Waters program that meets in Bothell (see below).
Speakers
In addition to Northshore’s openness to help people who come to us struggling with same-sex attractions, we also have a heart to work with other churches who want to minister in this area. If you are interested in having someone talk about homosexuality at your church, small group, Sunday School class or youth group, please contact Jeff Simunds at 425 216-4433.
Living Waters
Living Waters is a Tower of Light sponsored ministry based on the program developed by Desert Stream Ministries. Its purpose is to “minister the Life of Jesus to the sexually and relationally broken.” This program is available to both men and women who experience pain and angst related around the issues of same-sex attraction, opposite-sex attraction, sexual addiction, sexual abuse, co-dependency, etc. If you seek healing, join us as we discover for ourselves that God desires to bless us with His abundant Life.
Living Waters starts Wednesday, September 22, 2010 and runs through May 2011. To obtain an application, please contact Jeff Simunds at 425 216-4443.
“Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; and do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; but you will forget the shame of your youth…” Isaiah 54:4 NASB
