Our teams work in a holistic manner, serving the people we visit with assistance in areas including construction, computer work, medical clinics, school and university programs, feeding programs, social action, and partnering in the spiritual work of the local churches.

Here is a partial listing of trips that will be offered in 2014; additional trips and dates will be posted as they are confirmed. Additional trips will most likely include: Philippines, India, and Haiti, among others.

Our short-term mission trips are centered around our three focus areas: Church Planting & Development, Mercy & Justice, and Urban & Professionals. Each trip has a colored icon that represents the area of focus, with many falling under multiple areas.
This team will visit with our ministry partners and participate in a variety of their ministries ranging from children’s programs to medical care in leprosy colonies to church plants.
Join this team of women as they travel to Los Cedros, Nicaragua for their 6th annual women’s conference. Worship alongside and serve the women of Los Cedros.

This group will be working with Christian women from several closed countries in the region, joining in a conference meant to encourage and train these women before they return home.
Join in helping with the beginning of the school year at Havila Christian School in Los Cedros. Team members will help with the many tasks needed for the students to connect with their sponsors here in America and will try to bless the teachers in appreciation for all their hard work.

This is the men’s turn to bless the community of Los Cedros. The team brings the 5th annual men’s conference to a bunch of men who are waiting for them to return! The team also blesses the community through various “fixer-upper” projects.

Get your hands dirty and put your building, painting, and other construction skills to work. We will be tackling a number of building projects ranging from the Guest House to the Oasis Centers. You will get to work alongside locals as you watch the ministry grow.

Continuing the many years of ministry there, this team serves students in the deaf schools as well as outreach activities in the villages. This team will also hold evangelistic outreaches in public schools, serve in various construction projects, and continue encouraging our Filipino brothers and sisters.

Each year for the past 8 years, this team has had a great time ministering to the youth from the Eben Ezer Church, local church plants, and the community. Whether it’s hosting a youth camp or prayer walking through the community or loving on the students of La Escuela Havila, this is always a joyful time with our Nicaraguan brothers and sisters.

Celebrate “school’s out!” at the Escuela Havila in Los Cedros and help host a Vision Clinic. Team members get to close out the school year with our sponsored students, which includes a special outing for the 6th grade students who are moving on to different schools the next year, as well as help the surrounding community with their vision needs.
