Discovery is a 6 to 8 week experience designed specifically for those who are spiritually curious and want to investigate Jesus and the Bible. The goal is to help bring clarity to what Christianity is all about and help people discover answers to the many faith questions they have.
Tom Regan, one of our teaching pastors, leads the class along with small group discussion leaders at each table. They won’t be defensive, judgmental or confrontational. It’s a safe place to bring your perspectives, doubts and questions.
Here are the types of questions that you, or friends of yours, might be asking that we’ll address and discuss:
- Is the Bible historically reliable?
- Who did Jesus claim to be? Was he really who he said he was?
- What makes Christianity unique among other faiths? Do the differences really matter?
- If “God is love,” why is there so much suffering in the world?
- Does Christianity offer any hope that can change my life today?
Each week there’s a time for open-ended Q&A, teaching and roundtable discussion. If you’re interested in investigating Christianity, please join us in Discovery. If you have a friend that’s spiritually curious and wants to learn more, please invite and attend with them. We trust you’ll find the whole experience helpful and enjoyable. Contact us for more information.
Schedule: Discovery runs 6 to 8 weeks and in Room 139 at 9:30 am. The current class runs from May 4–June 15 (no class on May 25). The next Discovery will begin on September 28.
